HESTIA HABITAT SOLIDAIRE : un groupement économique et solidaire pour la réhabilitation de patrimoine

Un groupement économique et solidaire réunissant l’association Le Relais, le fonds de dotation du FAALEC (Fonds de Dotations d'Aides aux Associations pour la Lutte contre l'exclusion dans le Cher) et la SAS HESTIA HABITAT SOLIDAIRE a été créé à Bourges.
L’objectif de cette mutualisation d’acteurs territoriaux d’intérêt solidaire et économique est de mettre en commun des activités et des outils autour de l’action sociale.

HESTIA HABITAT SOLIDAIRE est une Union Economique et Sociale qui intervient pour rénover des logements sociaux, privés ou appartenant au Relais 18, association de solidarité et d'insertion installée à Bourges.
Quant à elle, l'association Le Relais, n’assure pas la réalisation des travaux puisqu'elle exploite des locaux auprès du FAALEC.

« Les demandes de logements/hébergements sont en augmentation et EN forte accélération dans le Cher. Actuellement 12% des logements inoccupés ne peuvent pas être mis en location car ils sont en mauvais état. »

HESTIA HABITAT SOLIDAIRE monte le projet, porte l'emprunt et les travaux de réhabilitation. Le financement obtenu auprès du Crédit Agricole Centre Loire a permis à l'Association Le Relais d’emménager dans de nouveaux locaux administratifs et d'y installer ses nouveaux ateliers qui sont actuellement répartis sur 3 sites, dont Bourges et St Doulchard. Ces ateliers permettent l'embauche en Contrat à Durée Déterminée d'Insertion (CDDI), des personnes éloignées de l'emploi, afin de les accompagner en réinsertion professionnelle. L'association Le Relais qui exploitera les locaux financés embauchera des personnes sous CDI : en 2023, cela représentera 105 contrats dont 21 seront basés Allée Napoléon à Bourges.
